Assistant Vice President – Trust Operations
Gia Aragon serves as Assistant Vice President – Trust Operations for Stonehaven Trust Company. In this role, Gia supports Stonehaven’s fiduciary operations by assisting in the administration of Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP) trust accounts, coordinating financial reporting and client communications, and ensuring adherence to Stonehaven’s internal control standards and the regulatory requirements of the Wyoming Division of Banking. Her extensive background in trust administration, investment operations, and compliance oversight enhances Stonehaven’s commitment to delivering precise, reliable, and responsive fiduciary service.
Prior to joining Stonehaven, Gia served as Assistant Vice President, Client Services & Support – Alternative Investments and Administration at Whittier Trust Company of Nevada, where she established and led the Partnership Operations Team for a $7 billion wealth management firm. In that role, she oversaw the onboarding and management of more than 1,000 alternative investments across 350 client accounts, implemented automation and data-integration initiatives to enhance accuracy and efficiency, and developed standardized processes to support cross-functional teams in trust administration, operations, and compliance.
Previously, Gia served as a Trust Officer at Beacon Private Trust Company (The Crosby Company), where she managed fiduciary relationships for high-net-worth clients and coordinated trust administration in accordance with legal and regulatory standards. Earlier in her career, she held progressively senior operations and compliance roles at Whittier Trust Company, Universal Value Advisors, and Navellier & Associates, where she gained deep expertise in portfolio management operations, financial reporting, and risk mitigation.
Gia holds professional education credentials from Harvard Business School (Alternative Investments), Cannon Trust School at Pepperdine University (Fiduciary Trust Administration and Estate Planning), the University of Phoenix (Human Resources Management), and the University of Nevada–Reno (Advanced Management and Leadership).​
